My name is Donna Bowman, I went to school in Bath County. I attended Salt Lick Elementary which was very much like Botts. Then went on to high school at Owingsville where I graduated in 1986. I attended Morehead State University and completed my education degree in 2 1/2 years. I was determined to become a teacher. I have spent my entire professional career at Botts Elementary, where I am beginning my 28th year of teaching. This small community is a wonderful place to work.

I am very blessed to have a class of very talented students. I try to make education as much real world as I possibly can. I want students to know how they are going to use the knowledge later on in their life. One thing I am very proud of, as should be parents and community members, when we go on field trips we are ALWAYS bragged on as being very polite and well behaved. This speaks volumes for everyone who has had a hand in raising these children.
