Welcome to 7th and 8th grade Science! This is my second year teaching in the Menifee County School District, third year overall.  I previously taught 8th grade science in Montgomery County, and transferred to Menifee County because this is home. 

For those who don't know me, I am a lifelong resident of Menifee County. I share my home with my husband Scott, our son Grayson, a Senior in high school, and our two Great Danes, Olive and Lincoln.  We also have an adult daughter, Jillian, who recently "flew the coop" and resides in Montgomery County.  

I spent the early part of my life raising my children, volunteering at their elementary school often, and served as part of the Botts Elementary School PTO. Those are some of my fondest memories.  After my children were older I decided to return to school to pursue a degree in education.  I obtained my Bachelor's degree in May of 2020 from Morehead State University, to teach Middle Grades 5-9 with a focus on Science and Social Studies. 

I LOVE teaching, have a passion for my content areas, and thoroughly enjoy building relationships with my students.

I have created a remind messaging group for each grade level that I teach. I encourage everyone to join our group as this is my main form of communication with families.  Each week I will send home updates, reminders, and important information to keep everyone informed.  Parents/Guardians also have the ability to message teachers to ask questions when needed.  Information for joining will be sent home with students at the Back to School Bash and on the first day of school.
