Principal's Message

As we begin the 2016-17 school year, I challenge every member of our community to invest in the value of a Menifee County education. It is said that hindsight is 2020. Well, we just welcomed in the graduating class of 2020 and I can tell you, with perfect foresight, the future is very bright!

I love the calling in my life.  It brings me a great deal of satisfaction to be part of something as wonderful as helping children succeed.  As a husband and father, I consider myself a messenger of promise and hope to my family.  As principal of Menifee County High School, I will bring this same passion every day. Like all teachers, I believe every child can learn, and learn at high levels. But, the true genius…the gift…the magic, is when the child believes.

My professional mission statement is to bring the promise of possibility to every student, every day, to ensure students graduate with the skills and abilities required for college and career success; to be known as an effective, inspirational leader with a genuine care for the health and welfare of our children, our families, and our communities.

Public education provides the best and greatest hope of creating a successful and productive citizenry.   As we move our school and district forward together, you will often hear a recurring theme I place on the value of a Menifee County education:

·    Visionary – Our schools must be visionary--a place that will support and is adaptable to emerging job market demands of the next 25-30 years.

·    Attractive – Our schools must be attractive;  schools must be a place where kids –and faculty and staff, parents and community members, etc, want to be—every day, all day, all year long.

·    Love for Life Long Learning – Our schools must be a place where a love for life-long-learning is embedded into the consciousness of every student.

·    Unique – Our schools must be unique to the values, beliefs, and heritage of Menifee County—it is an inheritance.

·    Enhance – And finally, our schools must enhance the possibilities of every student, and
ultimately, the prosperity of Menifee County.

I look forward to an exciting and rewarding school year.  If I can help you and your child in any way, contact me anytime.

Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
