Hello, my name is Mrs. Melanie Golden. I am the Director of the Youth Service Center at Menifee County High School and Menifee County Elementary 6-8. I grew up in Menifee County and graduated from MCHS in 1995. I then attended Morehead State University where I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work. This is my tenth year as the Director in Menifee. I live in Menifee County with my wonderful husband, of 13 years, Jamie and our two beautiful daughters, Delaney and Aubrey.

In addition to the Youth Service Center I also serve as Director of our local Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (KY-ASAP) and the High School Attendance Committee, as well as serve on the local UNITE Board, Christian Social Services Board, School Safety & Educational Support Committee, PTO, PTSA, HOTTY (Healthy Outcomes Toward Today's Youth) Club, Grandparent Support Group, 4-H Council, FCS Council, FRYSC Coalition, Regional FRYSC Advisory Council, and Middle School Cheer Coach.
YSC Mission:

To enhance students' ability to succeed in school by
developing and sustaining partnerships that promote:

*Early learning and successful transition to school;
*Academic achievement and well-being; and
*Graduation and transition into adult life.
YSC Vision:

The Kentucky Division of Family Resource and Youth Service Centers in the Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall establish the national standard of excellence in the provision of school-based family support.
